Terms of Service

Effective date: 24 June 2026Last updated: 24 June 2026

Before the legal language

These are the rules that govern your use of FORGE, wherever in the world you are. A few things are unusual because FORGE is unusual: billing is designed to stop automatically after 365 days, you can leave at any time without losing your data, and the product is built around principles the operator has chosen to commit to personally. The terms below state plainly what is a binding legal commitment and what is a personal one.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using FORGE (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The Service is developed and published by Rabindra Mahato, an individual based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India, operating under the name HomoLLabs (“HomoLLabs,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Developer”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use FORGE. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of the Service

FORGE is a behavioral discipline application that allows you to record daily check-ins, maintain a private behavioral history (the “Arc”), and access related features including the Vault, Forge Report, Forge Partner, and Forge Circles, depending on your subscription tier.

FORGE is not a medical device, mental health treatment service, or substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. Features such as Night Forge and the Grief Protocol support personal reflection; they do not diagnose, treat, or provide therapy for any condition.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services.

4. Subscriptions, free trial, and billing

4.1 Free trial

FORGE offers a 21-day free trial. No payment method is required to begin.

4.2 Subscription tiers

FORGE offers annual and monthly recurring subscription options, as displayed within the app at the time of purchase. Pricing is subject to change; any change will be disclosed before it takes effect for your account.

4.3 Auto-renewal disclosure

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the cost of the selected plan. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in Account Settings on the App Store or Google Play after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, or through the Customer Center within FORGE’s Settings screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

4.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled directly by Apple or Google under their respective policies. FORGE does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds on their behalf.

4.6 The Integrity Tier

FORGE offers a reduced-price subscription tier for users for whom standard pricing presents a barrier. This tier is offered without eligibility verification.

4.7 Graduation and billing cessation

If you maintain an active subscription continuously for 365 days, HomoLLabs intends to stop billing for that subscription automatically, unless you affirmatively begin a new subscription or purchase Alumni Status. This is implemented in the product’s billing logic and honored as a matter of design and principle. It is not currently backed by corporate governance, escrow, or third-party enforcement. If the mechanism fails through technical error, contact us and we will correct it manually.

4.8 Alumni Status

After 365 days of active subscription, you may purchase Alumni Status as a one-time, non-recurring purchase, granting permanent read-only access to your existing Arc and Vault. It does not include new check-ins and is non-refundable except where required by law or platform policy.

4.9 Sabbatical Mode

If you enter Sabbatical Mode between subscription periods, no charges are made during that period, and your existing data remains accessible in read-only form.

5. Your Content

Your identity statement, Vault entry, photograph, and other content you create (“Your Content”) remains yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, sync, and process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you. For check-in history and Vault entries, this license never permits us to read, analyze, sell, or otherwise use Your Content for another purpose, and because this content is end-to-end encrypted, we have no technical ability to do so regardless. Your identity statement is never transmitted to us, and no license to us is needed or granted for it beyond what is necessary to display it back to you on your own device.

As described in the Privacy Policy, individual check-in entries cannot be edited or deleted while your account is active. You accept this as a core characteristic of the Service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for an unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying algorithms of the Service, including the Momentum calculation logic
  • Use automated means to create multiple accounts or abuse the free trial or Integrity Tier
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure
  • Violate the rights of a Forge Partner or Forge Circle member you connect with

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you and allow export of Your Content first, except where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm or comply with law.

8. Intellectual property

The FORGE name, logo, Arc Fragment mark, associated branding, design, and underlying behavioral architecture are owned by Rabindra Mahato, operating as HomoLLabs. Other than the limited license to use the Service as intended, no rights are granted to you in this intellectual property.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any specific behavioral outcome will result from its use.

FORGE is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall HomoLLabs (the “Developer”) be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the FORGE application; conduct or content of any third party on the application; or content obtained from the application.

In no event shall the Developer’s total liability for all claims relating to the application exceed the total amount paid by you to the Developer for the subscription in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability.

The application is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including any non-waivable consumer protection rights you hold under the law of your country of residence.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HomoLLabs from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India.

If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be displaced by this clause, nothing in this section limits your non-waivable rights under the law of your country of residence.

13. About the Developer’s operating structure

FORGE is developed and published by Rabindra Mahato, operating as HomoLLabs. HomoLLabs is not currently a separately incorporated company. Statements about the product philosophy and long-term commitments, including billing cessation, reflect Rabindra Mahato’s personal intentions and are not currently backed by corporate governance, board oversight, or third-party legal enforcement. If HomoLLabs is incorporated in the future, these Terms will be updated before that change takes effect.

14. Changes to these Terms

We will notify you within the app before any material change to these Terms takes effect. Continued use after that notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
